Bones Restaurant Paris

Australian Chef and owner James Henry ex Cumulus Inc in Melbourne is the new boy on the block in Paris. Receiving rave reviews the last one I read in the Koru Magazine on the flight over.

Named Bones, the restaurant is striped back to the bone in minimal décor with lots of concrete and stone walls. For sit down meal you need to book 3 weeks in advance but no reservation is needed if you happy to sit at the bar and feast on oysters, chacuterie. It reminds me of Cumulus including the oysters Jan P and I had in Melbourne.

Ordering is off the blackboard and included Oysters, Slow Roasted Pork sliders, anchovies, fresh asparagus. Wine is by the glass or bottle.
We chose anchovies, duck cappachio and veal tartare which was amazing. well seasoned with fresh lemon juice salt and pepper and garnished with baby radish and rocket.

We had a great night and would certainly return.
